Situated on a tranquil river bend, Moondance (~1200sf) is a spacious, traditional riverfront home on two levels. On the entry level, the living room has a dining area and opens to the deck, with the open kitchen around the corner. The master bedroom is directly off the living area, with its own bathroom and entry to the deck. Upstairs, there are two other bedrooms and another bathroom. The deck has outdoor dining and a hot tub. Steps lead down to the rear yard, which has a wonderful patio under the trees with outdoor living room furniture and chiminea. From the yard, there's a path and steps to the river and seasonal dock. While this home can sleep 8, it is ideal for 6 people.
Please note that this is a riverfront home with a dock. Docks are generally in place from mid-June/early July to mid-September, depending on when the summer dams are installed. There are plenty of other ways to enjoy the river, if a dock is not in place at the time of your visit, such as a short walk or drive to a neighborhood or town public beach (please ask about the specifics before booking) or renting a canoe from Burke's. Boats are generally not available when docks are not in place.
