Sundancing River Lodge (~2400sf) enjoys a spectacular, sunny river-front setting in a tranquil location. This is a beautifully restored craftsman-style, river-view home originally built in 1932, with wood floors and panelling, in the traditional river style. Off the living room, there's a formal dining room; the well-equipped kitchen is just beyond. Off the kitchen, there's a bedroom with office set up. Up a short flight of stairs from the living room, there's a bathroom and two bedrooms. Downstairs from the living room, two other bedrooms and a bathroom are centered around a family room which opens to the garden. The bedrooms have good separation from each other. The dining room opens to a semi-enclosed, covered porch and outdoor dining. Beyond the porch, there are terraced gardens and patios. Steps from a lower terrace lead to the seasonal river dock. At the side of the house, there's a gazebo with large hot tub.
Please note that this is a riverfront home with a dock. Docks are generally in place from mid-June/early July to mid-September, depending on when the summer dams are installed. There are plenty of other ways to enjoy the river, if a dock is not in place at the time of your visit, such as a short walk or drive to a neighborhood and town public beach or renting a canoe from Burke's. Boats are generally not available when docks are not in place.
