Looking for a quiet, dog-friendly house in the woods with a big hot-tub on the deck? (I was, which is how I found this place) Then this place is for you. The cabin was surprisingly big and everything clean and in great condition. The kitchen has every amenity you might need.Loved this place, will be back soon!

"A little cabin nestled in the great redwoods"

5 of 5

A great place, well managed with all the emanates that make a a cabin in the redwoods a memorable time.Fire place at night, jacuzzi in the am, rinse in the outdoor shower hidden in the back amongst the redwoods, go for amazing hikes and visit the beach. On the way stop at some nice cafes with great coffee and baked goods. On the way back pick up some local grown beef, cheese, wine and or beer and local made ice cream a the creamery! After cooking a great meal jacuzzi again and them wrap it up with a warm fire! The indoor show has a glass ceiling with great views out into the forest! It was an easy place to slip into like going back home. Will back again for sure.

Very private location. Fire place, hot tub, and BBQ were completing our getaway vocation. The cabin is so welcoming. We enjoyed our time there.

"AWESOME!"

5 of 5

We stayed at Easy Days for labor day weekend and had the best weekend ever. It was quiet, peacefull and comfortable. We felt like we were the only 2 people in the world. We saw George Benson at Rodney Strong winery and took the best sunday drive to Bodega Head. The house was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Sitting in the hot tub under the stars was AWESOME! Loved it.Carol/Dan

"Perfect relaxation!"

5 of 5

Have you ever gone somewhere and instantly wishes you could buy the place you stayed in? That's how this was for us. Private, comfortably appointed, with a nice bed and a hot tub to end the day. Dog friendly and just a short drive to the river.

"A truly amazing retreat"

5 of 5

What a gem this place is! Cozy, charming, delightful. For two people, it's a very large space. We wanted a peaceful getaway for the holidays and that's exactly what this was. Waking up to the redwoods all around and sitting in the hot tub staring at the moon were two of my highlights. Highly recommend!

"peaceful retreat"

4 of 5

Very secluded and peaceful house and grounds. Sitting on the deck or in the hot, the only things you see are the beautiful redwoods and other trees. The Huge deck is fantastic! It goes all the way around the home. The windows afford a view from anywhere in the house. rrgetaways service was great as always. We would recommend this home to anyone wanting to "escape" the every day rush and just relax. We spent a week here and wished we had one more to spend.

"Incredibly relaxing"

5 of 5

Truely the most relaxed we have been in years! Complete privacy but minutes from town. The house was very inviting, particularly the kitchen. We cooked most of our meals at the house and were impressed that there was every pot, pan, tool and gadget we would need! Overall we felt at home. Only thing is we wish that wifi was available. It was clearly not. This is our 4th house we have rented in Sonoma, 3rd in Guerneville, and this is our favorite! Loved it!

"Amazing Hideaway in the Woods"

5 of 5

This cottage was perfection! The rooms are very spacious and all very open to the incredibly woodsy setting. No window coverings - just nature. The deck is immense and has every kind of seating/lounging arrangement available you could want. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking utensils, etc. Everything is very clean and cozy. The bathroom is a bit small but sufficient - loved the glass wall shower. Although the wood was a bit wet for a fire, we enjoyed the cabin ambiance, the wonderful hot tub, and other amenities. Wish we could've stayed a week! It is a little hard to find and the driveway is incredibly steep, but worth it! You are only a couple of miles from town if you actually need civilization.

Manager Response:

Easy Days is a great place, and I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. Please do come back for a week! And thanks for the review. -Rachel, Russian River Getaways

"Another wonderful Christmas"

5 of 5

My husband and I spent our second consecutive Christmas at Easy Days. We had a lovely holiday both times, but this year was even better because of the weather. The cabin is cozy, comfortable, and perfectly situated. It has literally everything you need, and with a fully stocked kitchen. The best part is the huge wrap around deck with the hammock, grill, gazebo, and hot tub surrounded by redwoods. We (and our dog) absolutely love it here. Thanks, Easy Days!-The Perrys

"Slightly Dissappointed"

3 of 5

My husband and I rented Easy Days for a nice quiet weeks' vacation. We liked the cabin. It was clean and comfy but were disappointed otherwise. First, we weren't sure if we could make it up the driveway but we only slid back down it one time. There were lots of stairs so if you have health problems this isn't the place for you. My hubby just had a hip replacement 3 months ago so he was OK with it. The fireplace insert was small and the fireplace tools were HUGE. There was construction going on during the day on the cabin below, so all we heard was sawing, nailing, compressors going off and a lot of cussing and swearing while we were there. Thursday night the power went off for hours and the temperature in the cabin dropped fast. We didn't want to haul up wood and try and start a fire at 2:00 in the morning. The cabin instructions say to contact P G & E but we didn't get cell reception and the cabin phone didn't work. Friday morning we were were stuck in the cabin for 2 1/2 hours before we could get out. There was a huge truck in the road trying to take the construction dumpster out and it kept getting stuck. One other thing that bothered us was that the house phone rang a lot during the day. With m mother being elderly, I had to answer it and it was calls for advertizing, surveys or bill collectors for the satellite TV. The morning we were to leave, it rang at 5:45 am. So, needless to say, this wasn't the relaxing quiet weekend we had planned for the money that we paid for our vacation. I don't think we will rent there again.

"Great cabin in the woods"

4 of 5

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend getaway at Easy Days. Very cozy and had everything we needed for a few days. Check in and out was easy. Only catch was that the place was not very clean upon our arrival. Admittedly we didn't contact the agency immediately, as they suggest, because it was already late after a long drive on a Friday and really we didn't care that much. But we did find a pair of men's shorts and underwear tucked into the couch cushions and the kitchen cabinets were pretty messy. Overall, a minor detraction to an otherwise lovely stay.

Manager Response:

Thanks for the review, and we're glad you enjoyed Easy Days. We're so sorry for the cleaning issues. We're definitely talk to the cleaner and make sure this doesn't happen again. -Rachel

"Great getaway"

4 of 5

We stayed two nights at Easy Days to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We loved the property, especially the expansive deck. Our dogs felt right at home and being able to lock the gate made us feel secure letting them roam while we cooked or enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen made it easy to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning of reheat leftovers from a night out. Had we stayed longer, I'm sure we would have Bbq'd and really put the kitchen to use.It would have been nice to know in advance there was firewood -- we hauled our own in, but then ended up not lighting up the fireplace because the weather was so nice.

Manager Response:

We're so glad you and your dogs enjoyed Easy Days. Please do come back and visit again. -Rachel

"Romantic retreat"

5 of 5

Russian River Getaways is definitely on top of their game, top notch service. Easy Days was perfect for a romantic getaway. The house is situated in a redwood grove on the side of a hill, quite private. It had all the amenities needed. The large deck, the comfort of the house especially the hot tub made our extended weekend quite memorable! The steep driveway was a bit of a challenge as well as the number of stairs, but this would not keep me from returning to Easy Days.

Manager Response:

Thanks so much for the compliments. We do try to make a difference. We're very glad you enjoyed Easy Days; it's a wonderful home. We hope you'll come back soon, and thanks for the great review. -Rachel

"This cottage is fantastic!"

5 of 5

We live in Las Vegas and this house was just what we needed to get away from it all. The house was well supplied with everything we could have ever needed. The deck is fantastic, I think we lived on the deck for the week we were here. Quiet, private, and relaxing, we had a wonderful time here and would love to return to this little cabin in the woods. The fireplace is tricky to say the least. Start small and get some good kindling going before adding logs to the fire. This allows you to get a good draw on the chimney so you don't have problems with smoke. (We learned the hard way) Drive way is a little scary, really steep, but worth the seclusion you get from the neighbors. Would recommend this house to our friends in a heartbeat. We cant wait to come back.

Manager Response:

Thanks so much for sharing your positive experience with Easy Days, especially your tips and tricks for the fireplace. We'll be so glad to have you back. -Rachel, Russian River Getaways

"Secluded, lovely, slightly odd, 1bdrm"

4 of 5

Lovely property! Beautiful deck, hot tub, large-ish kitchen. However, I learned a need to read the descriptions in thorough detail! Even though a staff member of Rrgetaways was helping me choose the property, I didn't realize some key things about it:- Though it says 2 beds, it's really one bedroom with a foldout couch bed. Even though I requested a 2 bedroom. This was disclosed in the detailed listing but I relied on the staff person understanding that I wanted a 2 bdrm house. My mistake. - There are no drapes of any kind. So great for nudists or people who trust the seclusion. Again this was in the details which I missed. - If you think you'll use the Wifi, might be better to choose a property with high speed DSL. Still, it's a great property for 1 person or 2 people who enjoy sharing a Queen. I knocked it down 1 star because the fold out bed was entirely unusable. Beyond horrible. I called them but didnt hear back on this. Unfortunately this experience shook my faith in RR Getaways. We had a great experience before. If we rent from them again, I will not rely on what they say by phone but will read the materials in complete detail. At least the full written description was accurate, except for the awful fold out sofa bed.

Manager Response:

We are looking into the fold out couch situation at Easy Days and we're very sorry that there was a misunderstanding between your needs and what the booking agent understood. It truly is critical to read the home descriptions, they truly are thorough and detailed. Easy Days is very private so the need for curtains has never been brought up to us or an issue but we do understand your concern. We apologize for the lack of contact. We do have an after hours emergency number you can utilize as well. We hope you return and your next stay can be more conducive to your needs.

"Tranquil redwood getaway"

4 of 5

My wife stayed at easy days for an annviersary weekend. A sweet spot nestled in the redwoods with an awesome deck. The house is cozy and comfortable and well stocked. Only complaint waste grill needed serious cleaning..it was pretty gross ... That said we would return.

"peaceful oasis"

4 of 5

This is a beautiful property set amidst beautiful and gigantic redwood trees. We were tucked in this peaceful setting for 3 glorious days listening to the rustling of leaves and the little critters that lived in the woods. The deck is spacious and a beautiful spot to do yoga, lounge, read, grill, or simply sit in the hot tub after a day of hiking. Our not so favorites about this property are the bedding & sofa. We think that it may be time to get them "refreshed" as they were quite uncomfortable on our backs (saggy). An additional bonus would be to get a queen size bed - (we think they have a full-size which was pretty tight for my husband and I who are average/thin adults).Aside from this, we would definitely stay here again!

Manager Response:

The bed and the sofabed are both queens. The mattress is pretty new, so I think this must be a taste issue. Thanks for the feedback. -Rachel

"Very peaceful & tranquil setting"

4 of 5

House was clean and ready at check-in time! The property looked like the photos and was as private as it appeared on line. Loved that there were no window treatmensts so that we could enjoy the green of the forest surrounding us.The one fault I found was that the mattress was a little too soft for us and the bedding could have been a higher quality cotton. We will however, come back in the warmer months to enjoy the river.

"Lovely secluded cottage"

4 of 5

We loved the private and secluded feeling of this cottage. Even though neighbors were close, the trees that surrounded the property afforded us with complete privacy. We enjoyed the open, curtain-less views. The gazebo was lovely and the huge enclosed deck was great for our dogs. Sitting in the perfectly heated hot tub and looking at the trees and stars was the highlight. A beautiful gas grill was perfect for grilling steaks. Another wonderful feature was the incredible cleanliness of the place. I've never stayed in a cabin as clean as this was. We would definitely return.Nothing is perfect, however, and this cottage was no exception. The picture on the TV was dark and we could not locate a brightness control. A larger TV would also have been a nice feature. We wish the bed had been king size as the bedroom was big enough for one. The bed sagged in the middle so that situation could be remedied with a new bed and mattress. We expected fireplace problems because we read all the reviews and, indeed, we had the same problem. My spouse and I have 40 years of wood stove and fireplace experience so we knew what we were doing but the box of the insert is too small for insertion of logs of a reasonable size and no amount of preparation with newspaper and kindling kept the smoking problem from occurring. Plus, once you get a fire going and close the door on the insert, you can't view the fire, which is the whole point of a fire! The owners need to remove that troublesome insert and leave an open fireplace. This would eliminate the problems. We stayed for two nights and thought that an $80 cleaning charge was excessive. If folks who stay a week are charged $80, then those who stay for two nights should have a prorated cleaning charge. We were also turned off by the posting of rules everywhere,in addition to the copies of rules that are given to you and are also located in the binder on the desk. Our other turn-off was the many notices of extremely excessive fines that were threatened to be levied if rules were not followed. These did not apply to us but still were a turn off. For example, one is threatened with a $500 fine for overstaying the check out time by 30 minutes. We left in plenty of time, but the idea of being threatened with huge fines was an unpleasant feature. We did enjoy our stay and enjoyed the Boon Eat and Drink restaurant in town, as well as visits to the Iron Horse and Kendall-Jackson winery. If the saggy bed problem were resolved, the TV improved, the fireplace insert removed, and the threats of excessive fines eliminated, I would call this place perfection.

Manager Response:

We'll pass your comments on the tv, bed and fireplace on to the owner. I will say that thousands of people have stayed at Easy Days, and there have been only a handful of issues, so I tend to think this may have more to do with the user. We could have helped with the tv and fireplace, if you had called us. We have rules and fines for things we need to comply with county ordinance for vacation rentals or to make things run smoothly for guests. For example, if one guest does not leave on time, the cleaner cannot start cleaning on time, and the house may not be ready for the next guest. Most guests are respectful, so the penalties are a deterrent for thosevwho are not. We rarely levy these penalties, mostly reserved for those who deliberately flout the rules or when damage is involved. Cleaners perform the same clean regardless of length of stay to make sure the house is is great shape for each guest.

Update: The TV has been replaced, but the size is determined by the beautiful wood hutch surrounding it.

"Beyond Romantic"

5 of 5

We wanted a romantic wine tasting week in the Russian River Valley, but we never expected to fall so in love with this hideaway in the redwoods. It sits deep in the forest nearly three miles down an increasingly narrow road and up a 45-degree sloping driveway. The dictionary should include Easy Days in the definition of romance. We couldn't wait to get back to our home away from home at Easy Days. This secluded gem was so welcoming that we truly hated to leave at the end of our stay. We enjoyed looking up into the redwoods from the hot tub and sipping a lovely zin or pinot noir in front of the fire. Each day was a surprise as we watched the forest lighten in the morning thorough the windows of our bedroom with an almost 180 degree view. We both agreed that we want to go back some day.

"LOVE THIS PLACE!!"

5 of 5

My husband and I are from Maine and we stayed at Easy Days for 7 nights for our honeymoon. It is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos. The living room is rich and warm while the bedroom and kitchen are sunny and bright. The furniture is gorgeous and there is a tasteful sun and bird motif throughout the house. The awesomeness of the deck is beyond words and you really feel as though you are up in a tree house suspended in a redwood forest. We spent a significant time relaxing on the deck when we weren't out exploring the surrounding region. It is a trip we will never forget and we hope to be able to return to Easy Days someday......

"Best Romantic Cabin ever!!!"

5 of 5

If I were to own a romantic, secluded, charming, rustic cabin in beautiful wine country this one would be it!!! My husband and I spent some time here in august of 2012 after taking my son to college... we regretted leaving every day to explore the area because we enjoyed being at the cabin sooo much. The decor is so craftsman bohemian with beautiful tile, lamps, comfy leather couches. The bed was super comfortable. I love how dark and quiet it gets at night. My husband loved the acoustics of the living room while playing his guitar... The shower looking out to the trees is very special... We will be back!!! and spend more at the cabin then at the wineries... a very special and romantic place...

"A relaxing week with nature."

5 of 5

The home is warm and cozy, many trees surrounds the house which gives you much privacy to enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of the area. The deck and gazebo is the best part of the home, there is where we spent many countless hours relaxing and watching birds. In regards to the location, getting to the river was an easy walk, and driving to town takes less than ten minutes. Overall, this was our first visit to Guerneville, and we had much fun. We plan to visit again, many thanks to the owner and the staff to Russian River Getaways for making this home available, and especially for allowing it to be pet friendly.

"Exactly what we were looking for."

5 of 5

This place was just perfect for us and our two dogs. We spent 3 days and it was so nice to come home to the cabin after antique hunting, the beach, wine tasting, etc. The hammock is fantastic with a great view of the redwoods. Complete kitchen, huge deck with grill, dining table and gazebo. Very comfortable living room and bedroom. Every amenity imaginable. Thank you for a much needed, restful getaway!

"Very relaxing"

4 of 5

My husband and I were looking for a secluded place we could take or dogs for some rest and relaxation, we found it here.It was very comfortable, the hot tub was great! The only thing not so great was the wood burning stove, all it did was smoke us out (good thing it wasn't that cold) other than that it was well worth it.

Manager Response:

We're very happy that you found your R&R at Easy Days. We'll check into the wood stove to make sure it's working right, but usually this kind of thing is a matter of folks not experienced with wood stoves or not figuring out the idiosyncrasies of this particular wood stove. If you don't find instructions in the house binder, please give us a call next time for help. --General Manager

"How will I ever get anything done on this vacation when this pla"

5 of 5

Oh, it was fantastic, nestled among the redwoods in a narrow canyon. Despite a neighbor's home being close by, we felt well secluded. We were initially anxious about the curtainless design of the place, but it turns out all but the trees and canyon walls keep the light very soft.Very cozy evenings by the wood stove, although it did give me some grief, trying to light. There was nearly a cord of wood, under the porch (your mileage may vary). The hot tub is one of the five best I've ever been in. Perfect for two, three would be comfortable, but the sculpted seats don't welcome any more. Of course, it's not that big a house... But it is well stocked with plastic glasses, for tub tippling. The hammock was inviting, the gazebo idyllic. I didn't bring anything to grill, but I will next time, 'cause the huge grill was begging me to barbecue a bushel of oysters. We enjoyed biking down to the beach and around the neighborhood, and booked a terrific in-house massage through the rental agency. It's a struggle to think of anything to criticize... I couldn't figure out how to get any warm water flowing to the outdoor shower. That might be okay in august, and true, one should perhaps expect cold showers in February, but with all the sun and seclusion we lucked into on this weekend, the urge to do as much as can be done outside and in the nude was squelched in this endeavor. The ceiling fan didn't ever switch on, no matter how craftily I flicked the switch. We worried that that might be an issue when my ministrations over the wood stove introduced a lot smoke into the room, but there's so much space up above the exposed beams, that the smoke dissipated, even in the still air. We've booked many houses, over the years, up in Sea Ranch and along the Russian River, and had plenty great times in lovely properties, but Easy Days sets a bar against which many fall short.

Manager Response:

Terrific! We're so glad you enjoyed Easy Days so much and hope you'll come back. We'll take a look at the outdoor shower and the ceiling fan and get those fixed, if needs be. Thanks for the great feedback. -General Manager

"Want to live here!!!"

5 of 5

We are from Las Vegas, and have Never heard of Guerneville, Ca. We had never had a bad bottle of wine from Russian River Valley, so just googled Russian River Valley, and found this gem. We brought our 2 dogs also. Every year we go somewhere just to get out of the heat of Las Vegas. What a find. We dream of living there one day. I am a total city girl and was a little freaked out by no blinds on the window. But at night, there is noone around you but the forest of Redwoods, and it is lit out side to make you feel more secure. I have pictures of my husband actually laying on the hammock, reading a book. We were there 3 days before heading out to the wineries. We didn't want to leave there. They have everything you want there. There is a Safeway store in town, and great Ice Cream place across the street. You Have to try Trio's a restaurant we ate at many times. Great food and prices. People who live there are so friendly and warm. We will definitely stay here again. We saw the blue bird mother there, and 3 dear came up real close to visit.

-Will be back again, and again, and again. on 09/01/2011

"Peaceful"

4 of 5

Our stay here was very peaceful and extremely relaxing. We thought that not having any blinds or curtains on the windows would bother us until we arrived and saw there were no neighbors at all and that we were truly secluded amongst the redwoods. The large, secure deck, jacuzzi and gazebo area were very nice and our two small Bichons could roam freely without fear of getting into trouble (except for some small holes that we taped up so tiny paws couldn't slip in). A couple things to note, a king bed would have been more comfortable (the bedroom is certainly big enough to accommodate one) and the TV was old and picture discolored somewhat so watching a movie was not that great as you had to endure green people on the upper left side. Other than that it was awesome and we'd definitely consider coming back.

Manager Response:

We're glad these folks enjoyed their stay. We checked out the TV and couldn't duplicate the problem, so I'm thinking it was their DVD? -rkl

"Great Hideaway!"

5 of 5

We loved our time at Easy Days. The cabin itself was clean and cozy, but most of our time was spent on the wonderful deck area! Loved the hot tub in the evening and reading/napping in the hammock in the afternoon. Couldn't believe how cool it was, even in July, in the midst of the woods. Was a little anxious prior to our arrival about the lack of air conditioning and predicted 80+ degree temps but we were as cool as cucumbers even during the hottest parts of the day.We would definitely recommend Easy Days and Russian River Getaways to all.

"A great place to stay!!"

5 of 5

We had stayed in this cabin before and enjoyed it so much, that we came back for seconds. The feeling of privacy, seclusion and the beautiful surroundings makes you feel like your normal world is a million miles away, which is what we call a "vacation". We love the enclosed deck with it's gazebo, bbq area, hot tub and hammock and thoroughly enjoyed our stay...again!! Our dog, Abby, felt quite at home with the surroundings and we loved the fact we could be out on the enclosed deck enjoying the day without worrying about her whereabouts. The location is great, as you are staying in the redwoods, close enough to visit the ocean, river is very close by and best of all...wine country is right down the road! Will definitely visit our treehouse in the redwoods again.Another great vacation!

The cabin was very clean, well equiped and maintained. The setting was privately located and made you feel as if you were very far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Quaint, lovely, and peacefull. Well maintained, beautifully located vacation home. Large one level sunny fenced deck, which was great for our dogs. Even though other residences were near, we felt like we were the only ones there. One can't get any closer to the "Redwoods!"

"Quiet and a great getaway."

4 of 5

My dogs and I enjoyed the 4 days we were there. The driveway is wild but once you get up to the home it has a great view from the hot tub and provides a great getaway. Everything you need it definitely at your fingers. I enjoyed watching movies and listening to music. My dogs enjoyed running around the enclosed area. I did not have to worry about them at all. The location was great, but I passed it looking for the address. The road is narrow.

"Perfect"

5 of 5

When we arrived at the Russian River Getaways office, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful providing maps and advice on all the best wineries in the area to enjoy. The home was a dream. More beautiful than we could have imagined. Completely secluded in the trees. Nice huge deck that was great for our dog to lay and sunbathe on (fenced so we didnt have to worry about him wandering too far). The house was such a cozy cabin, tons of space lots of windows (waking up to the forrest and creek was a dream but at night it would have been nice to have some curtains to close...nothing out there but forrest however semi-creepy for a city girl). There is a creek that runs by right outside the bedroom -very soothing to listen to. Shower with glass ceiling and huge window out to redwoods was super cool. Fire place and hot tub sealed the deal. Thanks Easy Days!

"Redwood Oasis"

5 of 5

Easy Days is everything you hoped it might be and more. Surrounded by redwoods it makes you feel like you are completely alone. The house is cosy and has everything ou could need, the rainy days in January didn't seem to matter and the fireplace which by the way is very easy to light makes for a cozy and romantic setting. The deck area is wonderful complete with jacuzzi and gazebo. Our chocolate lab Mocha loved to explore..........one note of caution for those of you with small dogs, there is a curious coyote that walks through the property in the evening but didn't come to close. We will definately be back for some more Easy Days in the summer so we can take advantage of the deck and hammock! This is definately our new favorite getaway spot.

Beautiful home, with everything we could want. Loved the amenities and the charming setting. Was a little put off by the 'paperwork' with all of the rules, (mainly because we are very conscientious anyway) but really enjoyed our time at this home. It isn't easy to find nice properties that allow dogs, so this was a real find for us. The patio is awesome!

Close to coast, close to vineyards, at river, and small neighboring towns for shopping. We had a lot of plans for our stay, but once at the cabin, did not want to go anywhere... except the secluded deck and hot tub. Can't wait to come back, but for a longer stay next time.

"No screens on any windows or doors equals no varment barriers"

3 of 5

Let me start by saying that the Easy Days cabin is truly a magnificent secluded tree house of a place, nestled into a wonderfully quiet canyon. The one thing that we found incredibly strange was that, with a wood burning fireplace that seeps smoke into the home, there is not a single screen on any of the windows or doors. Please let me state that my wife and I are avid outdoors people, owning several cabins ourselves over the past twenty years and have dealt with different types of fire places and wood burning stoves before. Even with a posted instruction sheet on the wall next to the fireplace that states, to clear excessive smoke - turn on the ceiling fan, then open the front and back doors. Well, when its pitch black out at night, and earlier that evening you remember seeing a feral cat, raccoons, mice, etc. right out side your back door, you think twice about opening up any unprotected window or door. For instance; After a late shower one evening, my wife left the bathroom window open to clear some steam. Sometime later when I went to use the bathroom, I was startled when I suddenly saw a medium sized little bandit (a raccoon) squeezing through the window, on his way out of our bathroom. Other than that, Great Place!!!

"Absolutely Enchanting"

WOW!! This house is amazing. So secluded you would think you are the only person within 100 miles!! It has breathtaking views, wonderful decor inside and out, and feels like an adult size treehouse!! We only spent three days here but it was sooo relaxing and peaceful, we can't wait to return!!The jacuzzi under the trees and stars was so beautiful we could have stayed in it all night. The airy feeling of the house with all the windows was wonderful, a little strange at first without window coverings but we soon got used to it. The kitchen had every amenity anyone could possibly need to cook their favorite meal. This place is EXCELLENT!!

"Seclusion in the Redwoods with a Hot Tub and Cable"

5 of 5

My girl friend and I stayed here in late August. The house is roomy, comfortably furnished, and backs up on three sides to steep redwood forested hills for unmatched privacy. The large deck on the front of the house has clean, well-maintained hot tub and a two-person hammock, a gas grill, and a gazebo! We would definitely stay here again. Close proximity to the Russian River and nearby Guerneville diners/shops/etc.

"Amazingly private and comfortable stay"

5 of 5

Our stay at Easy Days was great. The house is tucked on a hillside and amazingly private. This 1br/1bath home has plenty of living space. A huge deck w/ locking gate made it a great stay with kids. There is also an outdoor shower that was convenient and fun for the kids. Privacy, beauty, amenities and a short drive from downtown Guerneville are all pluses. Guerneville is a great central location to many of the surrounding cities as well (Jenner, Sebastopol, Occidental, Santa Rosa, etc.)

Thank you first of all to the staff at Russian River Getaways! You were very accomodating, professional and genuinely concerned about our vacation and home!"Easy days" was a last minute change from a substantially larger home which we initially booked... it turned out to be GREAT. Nestled at the highest point at end of a short street it was quiet, shady, and extremely private! The surroundings were amazing and the home had almost everything we could have asked for (internet would be great). We had friends over for dinner one evening and EVERYONE was amazed at the location and coziness of the home! We will be using RRG again and would recommend this home and the booking agency to anyone interested! Thanks again for a great experience!Lembit & Elizabeth KulbinRedlands, CA

"Nice Spot"

4 of 5

Nice Spot - The house is tucked into the trees up a small canyon. It is very private and the deck is up high, but no views of the river or valley. The house is super clean and nicely decorated. The hot tub is right at the base of GIANT redwoods and the gazebo on the deck is a cool place to hang. The house is about two miles from town, but easily accessible. Not sure about River access....We didn't find any close by and went into town to play in the water.

"In the eyes of the beholder"

5 of 5

In viewing "Easy Days" my boyfriend and I were awed when we saw the images and made reservations right away. When we arrived...our jaws dropped as we studyed the architecture of this simple, romantic, cozie little home. We were so pleased to have the opportunity to stay at "Easy Days" that we didn't want to leave. We hope that in time we will once again have a weekend stay at this wonderful location. Our favorite part about this home is the seclusion it had within the Redwoods. Amazingly, privacy was of no concern to us and we felt right at home. We loved the view from the house and hung around the patio mostly, taking as many pitures as possible, talking about what we would add (gardens, extra room, etc.) as if we owned it. : ) the house was so warming and very comfortable as well. Both my boyfriend and I believe that the images on the site do not do this location justice. Once you arrive at "Easy Days" your hooked and forget that your just renting it for the time being. The owners have done a wonderful job in designing this house. Lex and I were so relaxed and had such a wonderful time. Anyone who passes this location should think twice.Thank you, for the opportunity in staying in "Easy Days" Anyone who is looking to get away from it all to relaxe, have a romantic time and enjoy life, this is truely the place to go. Thank you once again.Kindest Regards, Lex and Liz

What a fantastic spot! Beautifully secluded in a grove of redwoods, this house has all the amenities one could ask for. We used the fireplace, bbq, and hot tub everyday and really appreciated the well stocked kitchen that included martini glasses and shaker! "Fantastic Getaway!"

5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at what we called our "tree house in the sky". What a set up! The house is built up in a niche out of the mountain with redwoods surrounding all sides. The windows have no coverings, so you can thoroughly enjoy what this area has to offer, along with absolute privacy. Completely enclosed deck around the house, hot tub, hammock, gazebo, gas grill and complete privacy and seclusion. We absolutely loved the ambiance, as it was definitely set up to be a romantic getaway...and it was! Of course, our dog loved it as well and we were so happy that we were able to take her with us on this stay. Love the fact that you are staying in the middle of the redwoods, are close enough to visit the ocean and of course, our favorite area....the wonderful Russian River wineries!!If you get the chance, try this place and you'll fall in love with it like we did. We hope to rent this property again, as it really was like leaving the world behind. We will definitely come back for another visit!

"Perfect vacation home"

5 of 5

This home is every bit as nice as the on line photos suggest. Every room is large and the deck under the redwoods is huge. We were here in February and actually enjoyed the couple days of rain because we could sit outside in the furnished gazebo. On the sunny days you can lay on the hammock and stare straight up into the redwood trees that surround it. The hot tub was perfectly maintained and clean as could be. The inside is immaculate with a beautifully rustic "lodge" type living room, a very large well equipped kitchen and a large bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The home is situated up a hill in the middle of a redwood forrest with complete 100% privacy. This place is so secluded that you won't find curtains on any of the many windows! What a great place for the couple wanting a romantic getaway (it does sleep 4 with the use of the hide-a-bed). I can not wait to come back to this home. It truely was a great find.
